This model was introduced in the early 1950s by Per Börnfelt who was the founder of the Lerro company. A collaboration with both BRIO and the Lundby factory developed. In 1959, everything was destroyed in a fire. Lerro and Lundby then merged their operations. Per Börnfelt was given a leading role in the new Lundby, and was responsible for all the design of dollhouses and dollhouse furniture.
