Ultra-thick embossing powder for creating layered effects. Add color, dimension and texture to journaling, mixed media and paper craft projects with Dylusion's Dyamond Rocks. Embossing powder is an enameling process, based on a powder where heat is applied.
Combine with Dyamond Dust, media, boards, stamps or similar.
To use, an example:
Apply Dyamond medium to Dyamond boards or similar products. Sprinkle powder over top, tap off excess. Heat to melt. While still hot, add another layer of stones. Repeat 3 times or to achieve the desired thickness. Next, using a stamp with Dyamond medium, stamp into the hot layers. Leave to cool. Remove the stamp and decorate with Dyamond Dust or similar media.
Tip:
Leftover powder grains will show up more clearly when they are heated, and they cannot be shaken off. Use a fine brush and brush them off. Be careful not to brush away the powder you want to keep.
For embossed designs with a lot of detail, use a powder with small fine grains.
