History of Attwood & Sawyer
The company was started in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales. The ambition was to produce high-quality bold costume jewelery, which is now much sought after.
Like many other manufacturers from this time, Attwood & Sawyer was inspired by vintage jewelry with historical references, such as their most famous collection, the Duchess of Windsor Jewelry.
By the 1980s, their brand had grown strongly in Europe, and they also made jewelry for the TV series "Dallas" and "Dynasty", as well as exclusive "diamond compositions" for the Miss World pageants.
Today, the company no longer exists, but parts of the design can be found at Buckley Jewelery Ltd.
