Scrapbook storage embellishments
- Generally, plastic trays with small compartments and a sliding lid / snap-fastening, works perfectly for storage of most embellishments. Some also have handles and are designed so that they are stackable.
Smaller boxes with drawers are also a good option. Desk drawers or perhaps a bureau. where you insert a "post" in the form of a plastic box with divided compartments, may also work. The possibilities are many, think through what would work best based on your own circumstances.
Why not try a plastic fishing box or a toolbox !? Then you don't move around decorations when you go to a scraping event!
- Letters, alphabet embellishments can be sorted in the A, B, C order, and kept in a minibox. Mark up the boxes so you can easily find the correct letter when you need letters for your project!
For larger set of monograms that can not fit in the mini boxes, you can just switch to a slightly larger box.
- Small embellishments, if possible, dispose of the original packaging! Often it is more than förpacking material which takes place. Sort by type and color. Attach one of the decorations on the outside of the box to easily be able to find the right!
- Medium embellishments, such as parts of games, puzzles, titles, phrases, flowers, tags, slide mounts, etc. Use photo holder, mini boxes or the like. Do not forget that the name on the outside!
- Flat larger embellishments, envelopes, pockets, tags, metal, etc. Sort them by producer type and color / material. Keep in mini boxes or the like. Put a name on the outside the box!
