What is journaling?
By telling the story behind my photos, so you give your scrapbook a personal touch. Headlines, titles and phrases journaling is the way to go! To help you get started and get the structure in this, so there are plenty of ready-made phrases, titles and headers for your scrapbook pages, and to help you put together your story. There are also poems, poems and other things that weave into your layout.

To begin
1. Write down and document the story behind the photos first, then select the paper, decorations, colors, etc. It is likely to affect your material in a positive way!

2. Start your scrapbooking story with a title or heading for the layout. Think about what the page is all about ?? Write it down! You can also include a phrase, poetry, memorable words, etc.

3. Now look at your photos. Who is with them? Who took the pictures? Name the people in the photos. Think of it as your grandchildren have opportunities to get a clear picture of who is there ...!

4. What is the photos really about !? Tell the story! Try to remember a lot of details!

5. Where did all this !? Document the year and date!

6. Where are the photos taken?

7. Why were those people there?

This is the basic elements that each page should contain, and is a good starting point for your own scrapbooking story.

A wonderful way to include your story in a layout is to put it in an envelope or in a "hidden" pocket ...!
