Choosing the right scrapbooking paper is a critical factor for the final result!

Single colored cardstock scrapbooking paper is the most affordable, good to use for die-cuts, punching well as entry-level paper layouts.

It is easy to accumulate a lot of paper in different shades of the same basic color so that your inventory grows .. A good tip is to might not buy you more than to the projects that you know you should implement!

Tips on how to choose the patterned paper for your projects:
- Match the colors of the clothes in the photo. Have the boy in the picture as blue jeans are blue shades perfect!

- Match the photo's background. If you have a backround in a garden with flowers as floral paper is perfect!

- Match the theme of your photo. Is it Christmas, you take the paper in July färgena red, green and white, you have Halloween theme so pumpkins, witches, Crow Castle, etc. Perfect!

Papers sizes, what to use??
It depends on how your project looks like. The most common and popular paper has size 12 "x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm). Why? Mostly because it is possible to have multiple photos on a layout and still have much room for embellishments & journaling!

A disadvantage of 12x12 inch paper is of course that the size makes it a bit difficult to manage storage in a good way.

8.5x11 inch paper, also called the "letter sized" paper is relatively inexpensive to purchase and easy to use for scanning layouts from a computer or printer. it also looks very good when using only a photo. The disadvantage is that there is so much room for journaling and embellishments.

- Try to use coordinated products in terms of patterns, colors and marchande decorations.
