How do I use ink in my scrapbook projects?

There are a few basic products you need in your scrappande / card manufacturing. Ink is one of them! As soon as you start thinking about stamping your subjects so the ink to this is a must!

The most common products are ink pads and ink refills in the form of bottles. Both can be used at stamping to create everything from a greater backgrounds. Ideal on surfaces like paper and cardboard-like material. Pigment ink will not smear and is color-fast (Keeps its color). Not suitable for use on glossy paper. Ideal for heat embossing because they dry slowly.

Mat paper is no problem here because the ink sits on top of the surface and do not penetrate into the fibers. Be careful on vinyl, glass and transparent materials. Even glossy / behhandlade card stocks can be difficult and pigment ink tends not to dry out. One tip is to try heat. Some examples of popular pigment inks:

- Clearsnap Colorbox Archival Dye, fast drying and permanent

- Clearsnap Colorbox Classic, will not fade, many colors

- Embossing and water brand ink is pigment ink without ink. (Some are a little faded). They are mainly used to heat embossing and to add a slightly darker impressions, so-called tone-on-tone look. - Hybrid ink works on almost all surfaces! Is equally suited to a porous surface such as textiles, glass, cardboard, etc. They are archival safe, quick drying and easy to use.
